Every Thermalite Plantation Shutter is manufactured in our Brisbane factory from a non-toxic, high-density polymer — the warmth and look of timber, with performance timber can't match. Custom-made to fit any window or door in fixed, hinged, sliding and bi-fold styles, with elliptical louvres from 64 to 90 mm.

Thermalite Shutters and Roller Blinds are manufactured within 15 working days. Zipscreen™ outdoor blinds, Aluminium Shutters and Honeycomb Blinds take approximately 4 weeks. Installation timing is confirmed with your quote.
Are your shutters really Australian made — can I see the factory?expand_more
Yes. Our Thermalite Shutters and Roller Blinds are manufactured in our own factory at 141 Bluestone Circuit, Seventeen Mile Rocks, Brisbane, and we welcome customers to visit and see it for themselves.
What warranty do Thermalite Plantation Shutters come with?expand_more
Every Thermalite Plantation Shutter comes with a 25-year transferable warranty on the frames and panels, plus a 3-year paint-finish guarantee — the finish will not crack, peel or yellow during that period.
Warranty is subject to our cleaning instructions and does not include costs relating to transport, removal, reinstallation or any labour. A call-out fee applies after one (1) month from the original installation date. Please follow our cleaning instructions.
